Assistive Technology (AT) is any device or adaptive equipment that helps people achieve independent and productive lives, including employment. Through the Assistive Technology Act, there are programs that demonstrate AT, provide new or re-used AT and/or offer Alternative Financing loans that are an affordable way for people to purchase assistive technology that best meets their needs.
